Wales Water Framework Directive Stakeholder Group

In 2007 the Welsh Assembly Government (WAG) established a Wales Stakeholder Group for the Water Framework Directive. This group has two main roles:

  • As a vehicle for the Welsh Assembly Government to inform relevant organisations of WFD developments
  • To enable those organisations to comment on those developments

This is not a decision-making body. It is WAG chaired and Wales shaped.
